The firm of Alper & Alper traces it’s origins back to 1936, when the late Max Alper first began private architectural practice,. Since then the firm has grown and evolved, gaining in experience and capability until today Alper & Alper is uniquely qualified to provide clients with a high level of professional service.
In 1950 Zalman Y. Alper joined the firm and began a trend away from single-building projects toward Urban Land Planning , an area in which the firm is today preeminent. In the past 40 years Alper & Alper has acted as consultant to numerous public and private clients, and was for a time an integral part of a large private development company. These years of experience working with large-scale sites of many different kinds enable the firm to provide a wide range of services, including architecture, land planning, feasibility studies, and zoning, annexation and development administration.
At Alper & Alper, we believe that in order to succeed, all planning and architectural projects must evolve in the context of a broad spectrum of economic, social and physical considerations. Planning that dosen't take achievability into account is of little value to the client, therefore Alper & Alper approaches all projects with a recognition of the diverse factors that are necessary for success, and a keen understanding of the ecological, physical, social and political considerations that affect each project.
